Missions in Honduras

This is a missionary friend of mine in Honduras that needs some financial help. Please read and if you can help please get in touch with me at toddmarett@gmail.com or respond to this twitter. Hey Todd, We really need some prayer. Things have been difficult financially to say the least but they are getting worse. We moved into a new house last month believing it to be God's will for us (we still believe this to be true). We needed eight hundred dollars to move in but we only had four hundred. I told the owner our situation and she said to give her the four hundred and move in, then when the other money comes in to give her the other four hundred. Unfortunately, the money still has not come. Last month was one of the worst financial months we've had. I will get paid on Friday from my Honduran teaching job but it's not enough to pay the four hundred we owe and the four hundred for this months rent. Our support has really dropped in the last nine months or so. We are down to about eleven or twelve hundred a month which includes my teaching job and money from our parents (our school year is over in november and I won't have that check anymore) . Our monthly bills (groceries, rent, utilities, gas etc) are at about fifteen hundred. This doesn't include any ministry expenses or car repairs or anything extra. I have to find a way to come up with the shortfall in our budget or our time here will be over. I know God called us here and wants us to stay but something has to happen. It goes against my nature to ask people for money so I am asking that you would pray with me that God would cause people to just want to give to our ministry here. Jeremiah

Church

A Pastor once held a service. He sent out an invite to all the members. Some could not come due to the fact they had booked their vacation for that day. Some knew it was going to be a pretty day and they would be riding their motor cycles in the beautiful mountains. Some were hard workers and said they would be too tired. So the pastor sent out another invitation to the hurt and poor. On seeing that there was still more room he sent out an other invitation to everyone in the streets and corners of the town until the building was full. The Pastor realized at long last, he now had a Church.
